'The house was in superb condition, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and well appointed. Would highly recommend to any family or group planning to ski Purgatory. Make sure you have a 4WD vehicle in winter, as the road to access the house can be snowy/icy. We did see three pickup trucks from Texas stuck in the ditch having slid off the side of the road.'

'We loved being hidden in the trees. The cabin is cute and cozy but reevaluate we spent a good amount of time just in the trees. It’s at the top of the neighborhood If you walk further up the mountain you just get deeper into the trees. Hosts were responsive and gave good advice, we had a 4 cylinder car so we probably would have gotten stuck if a storm had hit so that might be something to keep in mind in the winter. And it’s about 30 min to get to downtown Durango but it’s a beautiful drive and...
