'This is a great place to stay in Lunenburg- a short walk to the harbour and the Fisheries Museum and right across the street from a school (great place for kids to play). Check in was easy and the home is cute and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a BBQ on the deck. The beds were comfy and the laundry facilities were full size. The home is bright and feels spacious and the private deck is a quiet and peaceful spot to relax. We would love to go back.'

'Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay.'

There was lots of birds out in the water and both nights there was a seal no too far from shore.'

It is pretty typical to be a little let down once you arrive at a vacation rental because the pictures usually make it look more impressive than it actually is. 'From the minute we arrived we felt right at home. The owners live next door, so we stopped over to let them know we were there and to get dinner suggestions. They gave us our privacy, but let us know they were there if we needed anything. This was one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in, the house was very clean and nicely decorated. The weather was perfect, we were able to take the kayaks two mornings before heading out for a day of sight seeing. We will definitely stay there again...
