'We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at Carson Hot Springs. The warm/cold pools were definitely the highlight, as was the quiet location of this property. Our room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and we would definitely recommend it as a peaceful getaway.'

Inderdaad, wanneer we de volgende dag gaan wandelen (vroeg om de massa voor te zijn), moeten we wachten tot het ontbijt klaar is om 9 U. Voor 120 euro, zou ik zeggen goed adres, voor 200 euro, overpriced'

'Old, but they are trying to clean the property and building up. Bed was great, we were just not used to road and train noise. We are going to be staying there again this month.'

'I stayed at the Cascade Motel during a road trip through the Columbia River Gorge and found it to be a practical and comfortable base for exploring the area. The motel consists of standalone cabins rather than a traditional motel block, which makes for a quieter stay. My room was very spacious, with two large beds, plenty of room for luggage and camera gear, effective air-conditioning, and good sound insulation. 'We loved the location of this hotel. It is right in the middle of the scenic gorge area, with plenty to see within a short drive. Our room had a large window with a magnificent view of the Columbia River. The room was extremely spacious and clean, and our beds and linens were very comfortable. Breakfast vouchers allow you to get delicious made-to-order breakfast at the restaurant next door. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.'

'What an amazing little hidden gem in a sweet little town in Oregon! It had a fully stocked kitchen, free coffee, plenty of towels, a full deck, a huge BBQ pit, and the most comfortable bed I've slept in in years! It was immaculate! So super clean! They provided earplugs and a sound machine, I assume to help you sleep through any noises from the road, but none of that was needed because it was so peaceful and dead silent all around us. We are definitely putting this sweet little motel on our list...

'Knus hotel in schattig, Amerikaans dorpje. Kamer ziet er prima uit, wel aan de kleine kant. Badkamer is gescheiden van de kamers, maar voldoet aan alle eisen. Wifi werkt uitstekend. Enige nadeel is gehorigheid, zowel van binnen het hotel als van buiten. '

'Prachtige grote kamer met Kingsize bed. Bed was te zacht naar onze smaak. Ontbijt was redelijk uitgebreid. Zwembad zag er niet aantrekkelijk uit; het water leek niet helder en vanuit de ontbijtzaal kijk je zo het zwembad in. Veel keuze aan restaurants op minder dan 5 minuten lopen. '

'Quirky resort. Lots of artsy stuff. But I paid $275 for one night. That didn’t include a bathroom, TV, or phone. Building is very old and historic but not well maintained and the community bathrooms smelled. Not for me.'
