'Thank you for a wonderful stay! The positives are: Being able to walk around the grounds that were so beautiful. Something for everyone from youngsters to oldsters. Several places for people to gather and visit on the property. The only downside (I am short) the only mirror in our room was over the bathroom sink, which was too high for me. 'Staff friendly Rooms clean and close to Brown County State Park'

'It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired.'

'Loved the two days we spent here. Very good home-cooked breakfast, nice rustic cozy room with fireplace, two person jacuzzi. Just a very nice overall experience. The host is very friendly and informative.'

'The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot.'

'This was a very nice room, and we would stay again. The bed was comfortable, and there was room to relax. The only complaint was that there were people, probably children, running around above us until late into the night. If we stayed again, I would request a room on the third (top) floor.'

'Check your room before you put anything down. You might find left over poop on the toilet. You will be complained at if you sit in the lobby and are slightly loud while talking to friends. How dare we interrupt your personal call while you are at work.'
