'Clean room and friendly staff!'

'It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired.'

The outside was rough, looks like possibly remodeling, a toilet was outside in front of a room. The inside was outdated, painted chipped off the walls not outlets, the one we could use sparked when you plugged something into it. The TV kept freezing up during the program. 'Staff friendly Rooms clean and close to Brown County State Park'

'Thank you for a wonderful stay! The positives are: Being able to walk around the grounds that were so beautiful. Something for everyone from youngsters to oldsters. Several places for people to gather and visit on the property. The only downside (I am short) the only mirror in our room was over the bathroom sink, which was too high for me. 'The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot.'

'For the price i would bypass this one . Rooms are not updated . Walls are paperthin . People next to us and above us kept us up all night long . We had a room with a balcony The bathroom had a window that overlooked the people next to us balcony so at anytime they could look into our bathroom just had a flimsey old curtain to block the view Food was not worth the price paid yea totally bypass this one at all cost'

'Beautiful furniture, nice overall place, great walking distance to most things in a cute town! Only issue is it advertises two bathrooms and there are NOT two. We brought this up to management. They said they would correct this listing, but it has not been corrected. '

'Loved the two days we spent here. Very good home-cooked breakfast, nice rustic cozy room with fireplace, two person jacuzzi. Just a very nice overall experience. The host is very friendly and informative.'

'This was a very nice room, and we would stay again. The bed was comfortable, and there was room to relax. The only complaint was that there were people, probably children, running around above us until late into the night. If we stayed again, I would request a room on the third (top) floor.'
