'Great place to stay at Cooke City. Nice, clean cabin, exactly as advertised. Hot water and heating worked great. Regular updates and check-in reminders from the host, with easy to understand instructions for check-in. Kitchen was equipped with all the usual utensils and appliances.'

'Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious...

'The cabin was charming, clean, and centrally located. The check-in process and communication were good. I do think the cabin lacked a ventilation hood for cooking/baking (smoke alarm went off when we pulled the tray of bacon from the oven). '

'Attractive property. Worked quite well for 2 couples. Easy to find. Good location for entering Yellowstone NP. we had what we needed when cooking. Just need a few hooks in the bathroom for towels as with 4 people there r not enough places to hang things. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was not working while we were there. '
