'As always, hospitality is defined by the people who provide it. The hotel staff was magnificent in this regard. From the breakfast servers to the front desk, everyone was kind, helpful and wore a smile. A special mention for the cleaning staff who did an excellent job every morning. Breakfast was delicious with options such as eggs Florentine and eggs Benedict, although as a continental European i would have liked to have seen some cheeses at the buffet. 'Great place to stay in Sheffield near the university with on site free parking which was great. Staff really friendly and we ate there in the evening and although it was fully booked they found us a table. Plenty of choice on menu and they had gluten free options which was great for us. Will stay there again.'

'The Dainton suite was an amazing size for our family and the breakfast was amazing - one of the best I've had! Hotel is in an older building so lots of walking/stairs, but very lovely. Location is very central, lots of parking - £9 a day.'

"The appartement is rather small, with only a very small sofa as a seating area. Both bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, which is nice. As ac family with two children, we like two bedrooms, but both beds are rather small. The kids didn't really like it, and if you're two adults, you really have to like each other. The kitchen wasn't fully equipped, and we couldn't get the oven to heat up. When we cooked inside, it was hard to eat inside as the breakfast bar is all there is, plus a small side table. Most things were clean, there were a few things that could have been cleaner. We were happy to be very close to a friend's house, but wouldn't book this appartement again due to its size. "
