'As always, hospitality is defined by the people who provide it. The hotel staff was magnificent in this regard. From the breakfast servers to the front desk, everyone was kind, helpful and wore a smile. A special mention for the cleaning staff who did an excellent job every morning. Breakfast was delicious with options such as eggs Florentine and eggs Benedict, although as a continental European i would have liked to have seen some cheeses at the buffet. 'Such a lovely hotel and a great place for a relaxing stay. Our room was surprisingly large for three of us and was lovely and clean and had everything we could need. Really thoughtful and unusual decor really added to the whole hotel and the restaurant was lonely. Great food and a particularly friendly waiter. If you are looking for a break from the boring chain hotels and some fab food and service then it’s for you.'
