Slechts 50 meter van het strand.

Gemakkelijke toegang tot een kanaal in de achtertuin waar u heerlijk kunt vissen of rondhangen
Uitzicht op het strand vanaf de patio.
Gelegen aan de voorste weg van het eiland, direct tegenover een strandpad waardoor het gemakkelijk toegang heeft tot het water en ook een uitzicht op het water vanaf de patio aan de voorkant!
Dock is in de achtertuin, perfect om te vissen, kajakken of varen, en geeft ook meer toegang tot het binnenland van het eiland en zijn geweldige landschap!

Perfect location

The location of this house was perfect. It’s directly across from the beach access. Upon arriving we realized we didn’t have any wash cloths or hand towels, a text to the property manager and towels arrived almost immediately! The house set up was great - apartment style bedroom and living area is totally separate from the main house. This was perfect as we have a very active toddler that could play downstairs without waking the entire house. The basement has a sink and fridge although the fridge wouldn’t cool, kind of a bummer with all the food and drinks we had for the week. But we made trips to the marina for ice and used coolers in lieu of the basement fridge. We really enjoyed the screened in porch - was perfect for relaxing in the evenings and not getting bitten by bugs. The house was clean but we did see some spiders and roaches however the owner seems on top of it - a pest guy showed up to spray while we were there. The floors are in need of a good mopping, but overall showers, sinks, everything was very clean. Overall, a great stay and would rent again!

Great Little Get Away

The house is located on the canal with a very short walk to the beach. It was relaxing to sit on the screened porch and “take in” Fripp. Definitely will rent again!!

Awesome location!!

Great house with tons of room!! Perfect location right across from one of the beach access points and it happened to be one of the less crowded ones too!! The downstairs area is great for kids and young adults!! We enjoyed our stay!!

Awesome location!

This is a spacious home in a terrific location! I saw comments about pest control, need for updates, etc, on previous reviews and had some concern going in, but I found this property to be very clean with recent updates. Bedrooms are large, living spaces are very large. Closets need some doors, but I assume that perhaps the owners are in process of renovation and just haven’t gotten this last item completed. Everything about our stay was terrific! Location is wonderful, with beach just across the street.

First vacation on Fripp

Castaway Cottage is looking tired, inside and out. Poor lighting in the living room space. Old pots and pans, Teflon pealing on some. Two slice toaster, the inside panels do not work. Stained bed linens and old towels, 3 different colors in my bathroom. On arrival, the air conditioning in the lower living level did not work and the upper level 80 degrees. Prompt response from property manager and repairman came and fixed the air conditioning. My daughter arrived first and the door was propped open by the cleaning person. The floor of the upper level was very dirty. Did anyone check out the house for cleanliness and lights working??? Despite the disappointing condition of the house, we enjoyed our time on the island and will return next year but not to this house.

Overall, a pleasant stay with a great location for beach access. Property needs updating and refreshing. Definitely needs professional bug control. Easily accomplished but should be a priority.

Location is hard to beat!

We loved the location of this home. A ramped (no steps) beach access is right across the street. The home is situated basically in the center of all of the activities we were interested in- beach, pool, golf, shopping, and crabbing and fishing off the dock in the backyard. The home is not as huge and fancy (or costly;) as it’s neighbors, but enjoys the location which can’t be beat. It was perfect for 6 adults and 2 kids. We had a great vacation there!
