Schilderachtige Studio Loft in het hart van het centrum van Beaufort

Deze unieke bakstenen loft ligt in het hart van het historische commerciële district, tien stappen verwijderd van Bay Street. De schilderachtige ingang van de veranda en de bakstenen muren aan de binnenkant bieden het welkome toevluchtsoord dat de individualiteit van ‘Oyster Bed’ laat stralen. U bevindt zich op een steenworp afstand van het schilderachtige Waterfront Park en wordt omringd door de uitstekende restaurants van Plums, Saltus, Breakwater, Q On Bay, Wren en Hearth. Wandel door Bay Street en geniet van de vele kunstgalerijen waarvoor Beaufort bekend staat, naar de historische woonwijk, de Old Point, om de prachtige vooroorlogse huizen te zien, of rij twintig minuten naar het strand van Hunting Island State Park. Kom naar Beaufort om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen, kijk naar de zonsondergang en ervaar waarom we zoveel van Beaufort houden!

Great little studio apartment. Close to Bay Street and waterfront park. Enjoyed walking around Beaufort and then returning to room to get our second wind. Great having a refrigerator and microwave to heat up any leftovers. Street noise was minimal. Definitely would stay here again!

This place is tidy, charming and clean. It is extremely convenient for all things downtown Beaufort. We walked to everything we needed and there is a little store underneath that has a variety of items including snacks, drinks and wine. It appeared they were mid renovation as the entrance door and bathroom trim were non existent - leaving it mildly unsightly. The entrance stairs could use some vegetation control, especially if someone is allergic to poison ivy. Sleeping wise the bed could use a quieter bed protector and one night the crowd on the street got rowdy throughout the night so we were awaken several time. Overall I would recommend and I would stay again - it was a cozy convenience bed/bath & kitchenette for a nice weekend down town!

Great little apartment right in the heart of downtown, historic district, shopping, and great food choices. There was some restaurant noise late at night, since there is an excellent restaurant/bar right across the street. We plan to book again in the future.Parking worked out well, just be aware that the designated car park area is a couple of blocks away. Not an issue for us, but some might. Also, there are steps leading up to the apartment. Again, we loved it, but for anyone with disabilities, it might be an issue.

Cannot say enough about this wonderful place! My husband and I love love loved it. Easy to get around to places from it. We had a boat that was at the marina, which was only a block away. We want to come back and stay again for a weekend again. Everything about this place was perfect!

Location, location, location

I wanted to love this property. The owners have made such an effort to make a small space livable - with the right amount of quirky. I loved the walls, floor, comfy chairs and flax/linen comforter cover. Communication was really great when I had problems connecting to the internet (router and password are not accurate on VRBO listing). OK, here's the problem(s). Immediately upon entering, both my husband and I noticed the slight smell of mildew / mustiness that, unfortunately, did not dissipate for me. I was having problems dealing with it. Was it coming from the walls (no, they were sealed), the bedding (no, smelled fresh), the air conditioning or elsewhere (I don't know). 2nd, a prior renter had mentioned that the shower door did not close all the way and I had the exact same issue (it wasn't fixed) - the lower hinge had moved somehow and my husband had to really crank on the door to get it closed - I thought it was going to break. I had to have him let me out of the shower. Things are just a bit "unfinished" - bare wood on countertop and kitchen cupboard. The silverware was dirty and I didn't have any confidence that any of the dishes or silverware were clean. It didn't help that the silverware was stored in a rusted tin container. Sure, I appreciated the rustic touches, but NOT when it comes to eating utensils. Unfortunately, it was just a bit TOO rustic for me.

I liked how close the location was to everything. It had a unique style for such a small place. What I didn't like was the air conditioner drain line dripped over the entry door real close to the door handle. We got creative on how to dodge it. And we could never get the tv to turn on. Also, parking was horrible! We followed the parking instructions that we were given but had to figure it out.
