Walking on the beach at Hunting Island State Park was very pleasant! We also enjoyed food at Magnolia Cafe in the same building. The Heaven's Treasures Thrift Store nearby had great buys! '

'We came down for the dragon boat festival and had a great time staying at the loft. It was close to the festival and the main street with shops and restaurants was less than a block away. The loft is wonderful.'

I think the only issue (and my aunt didn't notice it so maybe it was just me) but it did have a slight off-smell. Maybe it was the air freshener? I'm not sure. But otherwise, it was a great spot. 'The keyless entry lock on our rental unit’s door would not work—at the end of the day on Saturday with 2,10 and 11 year olds plus 2 adults wet from the beach and sandy because the showers coming off the beach near our unit did not work. The property manager sent a repairman—and he was tremendous. However—he worked on the door lock for over 2 hours without success and finally literally used a crow bar to force the lock to break and let us in. He profusely apologized for the inconvenience. 'This was a great place to stay in Beaufort. Has off street parking and a yard for your four legged babies to run. The space is clean and the beds are comfortable. We also met a member of the staff and she was very friendly. Will definitely return. '

'Place is nice. I always love the sunsuite location for a weekend getaway. This particular unit has something broken under the tub... not sure if its ceramic below the tub or what... but you can tell unless you stand on it. That was a little nerve wrecking when showering. Evreything else was perfect!'
