'It is a little far from everything, but worth the drive. Beautiful deck and view. Found house to be stocked with most everything we needed. I did have to call owner to find a light switch and she answered quickly and was very sweet. I recommend this house if you want to get away . If you are looking for night life this is not for you.'

'Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again.'

'This house was perfect for two families since there are two kitchens, and everybody had their own space. Although I would not recommend sleeping downstairs as you can hear every noise from the upstairs area.'

'Terrific, clean spot with spectacular view of Nolin Lake from the porch. While a little long (40min) , the drive to the mammoth caves is beautiful, and the serenity of being on the lake is unmatched. Responsive and helpful hosts.'

'Beautiful place and area. Extremely isolated, which is what we sought. Very comfortable and clean. While the lake was still down, we were able to fish and the fishing was very successful. Loved my 3 days of undisturbed fishing. Anyone looking for backwoodsy comfort, this is a gem and a value. All should note that you are at the head of a hollow deep in the woods. This is where the ticks and skeeters live. Be prepared if you plan to trek down the path to the water. Bring repellant. Otherwise,...

Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place.'

'My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed.'
