A lovely home away from home. Close to Bells and other attractions but hidden amongst the gum trees...ahhh, the serenity. The studio has everything needed for a relaxing break including a really comfy bed. Our fur baby loved the stay as did we. In a word, Perfect!

Room above a garage
I would have liked to know that this accommodation is a room/apartment above a 3 car garage. Every time the garage door is opened or closed (which happened multiple times during my stay), you will be woken (happened twice) and the whole room shakes/vibrates (every time). This was not included in the property description. There is a glass sliding door through which you enter (the only light in the living/dining area) and then a smallish window in the bedroom (the only light in that area). The hosts were friendly on the one occasion I saw them. The property was clean and there were supplies in a cupboard. Overall I felt the accommodation was dark and the description misleading in not mentioning that it was above a regularly used garage.

Quaint small apartment But No Barbq tools, egg flipper, tongs etc.
Well situated and we had a great time. Loved the elec bbq. Just a suggestion - the stairs to enter the unit should be more visible when looking on line. My husband and I are in our 70s and struggled. But it is very nice. Mardi was so approachable and flexible and friendly.

Quiet and peaceful, perfect getaway for both of us. Mardi was very helpful with our booking and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Particularly enjoyed the chickens 🐓 and rural feel to our stay. Breakfast was amazing.

Out of nowhere
10mins from Torquey driving down the road to the property you would truely believe you were on a road to nowhere. Yet it was just 8mins off the Great Ocean Road. The studio apartment was pleasant and totally peaceful. There was trouble with my mobile phone service but I was certainly comfortable with that staying at this bush property. Telstra was available if you this is your provider. Overall I was very happy with the stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful property, close to everything, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Amazing breakfast provided, including their own eggs and fresh produce. Perfect size space to relax after a day out. Would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night but the property was cosy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was basic but functional and the bed made for an easy night’s rest! Amazing 4 nights in Paradize
We enjoyed everything at the property, very clean , modern with nice touch of old times. Mardi is an exceptional host, all breakfast items, milk, coffee, tea, super fresh eggs was provided. Bed is very comfortable and towels are soft. Cannot wait to be back! Location is great - 10 minutes to the best beaches and away from the crowds.

Very stylish, spotlessly clean, a vastness to the view but still felt like coming home. My dog enjoyed walking around the estate. I was able to pick my own tomatoes and eggs which was fun. Wonderful greeting on arrival and the most decadent biscuits for a snack.

Nice Quiet Getaway
Nice, clean and quiet place to stay! 10 minute drive from Torquay so nicely located for that whole area. We brought our dogs and they were made to feel very welcome, even when our lab barked at the horse! Hosts are very friendly and it was overall a nice stay!

Pupper loves the beach!
It was lovely to have somewhere to take our pupper to get her down to the dog friendly beaches - can recommend you head to Point Roadknight to the back beach there where you can walk along to Gough’s Bluff with dogs off lead. The apartment is small but well appointed, with a nice, comfy bed. We had fresh eggs for breakfast and enjoyed sitting out under the shady gum tree listening to the birds. Good communication with the host in the lead up to our stay - she seems very accommodating and friendly
