'To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. 'We had a lovely stay at the Chateau acadien. The panoramic view from the deck of the Cape Breton shoreline is unforgettable. All the rooms were luxurious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location on Cheticamp Island is in the original fishing settlement, and a small museum is being built nearby. It is supremely quiet and peaceful, but conveniently close to Cheticamp. I highly recommend this property. '

"There was no reception on site. Apparently it was mentioned in the booking but when you travel for three weeks and checkin/out almost daily we didn’t noticed. Also, some other locations gave us directions/messages before arrival and this location didn’t. On site we had to call a remote reception. From there on all went smoothly though. Room was clean and all necessities were there. It’s by the marina. Parking is easy on site. "
