Lake Street koetshuis

The Lake Street Carriage House is een volledig gerenoveerd koetshuis uit 1860 in het hart van Picton, Ontario en heeft zojuist de 2016 Builders Award voor beste woningbouw van Prince Edward County ontvangen.

Geweldig voor gezinnen, meerdere vrienden en koppels die op loopafstand van alle restaurants, winkels en theater willen zijn. Het is 10 minuten rijden naar het provinciale park Sandbanks en dicht bij alle wijnmakerijen, distilleerderijen en ambachtelijke brouwerijen van het graafschap. Het is ook een steenworp afstand van de Millennium Trail voor degenen die van joggen, wandelen en fietsen houden. Als Golf is wat u zoekt, is het slechts 5 minuten rijden naar de Picton Golf & Country Club.

Terug van de weg, biedt het koetshuis de ruimte en privacy om te genieten van uw rusttijd na een lange dag van het verkennen van alles wat de provincie te bieden heeft. Een twee verdiepingen tellende huis met drie slaapkamers dat is gerenoveerd en gerestaureerd om ervoor te zorgen dat de geschiedenis van het gebouw waar mogelijk is behouden, terwijl het nog steeds een bestemming biedt die u alle voorzieningen biedt die u zou willen garanderen dat de tijd doorgebracht op de huis is zo aangenaam en ontspannend mogelijk.

De begane grond bestaat uit een open concept plattegrond met volledige keuken, een woonkamer met een gashaard, wasruimte, halve badkamer, een grote omheinde privé achtertuin en terras met een 6-persoons hot tub die het hele jaar door kan worden gebruikt, BBQ en buiten propaan open haard / verwarming.

De tweede verdieping heeft drie slaapkamers; de master is zeer ruim met een zithoek en beschikt over een kingsize bed. De tweede kamer biedt een koningin en de derde slaapkamer heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden. Het heeft ook een 4-delige badkamer met bad en een inloopdouche.

Ongeveer 2,5 uur van Toronto en Ottawa, 3,5 uur van Montreal en ligt in het hart van Picton, Ontario

Picton biedt meerdere opties om rond te reizen, waaronder taxi's, limousinediensten voor wijnreizen en fietsverhuur (Bloomfield).

This is a fantastic accommodation. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable & has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The location is also great as there are lots of restaurants you can walk to & lots of stores & wineries nearby. The hot tub is a lovely bonus! We certainly hope to return.

This Carriage House was the best rental we have had in the County over the past 11 years at a fair price and excellent amenities. The kitchen and bedrooms are all well appointed. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and very well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by how large it was! The photos don’t do it justice. It rained during one of the days of our stay, so we were able to take full advantage of the amenities and catch up on our laundry with the included washer and dryer :) My only wish would be to have hooks behind the doors and in the bathrooms to hang our wet bathing suits and towels. A drying rack would also have done the trick. Aside from the lack of hooks, everything was perfect.

We were on a girls golf getaway. Very convenient location. Close to LCBO and restaurants. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Relaxing in the hot tub after golf was an added bonus. We all want to return next year.

The property is lovely, everything you need is available for an enjoyable stay. Because the county is wine country taxi service needs to be *better*. My sisters in law and myself are in our 60’s and 70’s and we were unable to get a taxi service after dinner, we walked took us 45 min and I was nervous. It was 10:30 when we got back to the house. My one sister in law is unable to walk easily, it was challenging and frustrating. The property and house were 100%.

This home was amazing, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need/want. The beds were comfortable. Both the hot tub and outdoor fire table were lovely. The house is a great location, very close to the main strip in Picton. Overall, I have nothing negative to say, we were very happy with our visit and would 100% recommendation!

The property was lovely, spotless, well outfitted. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The hosts were amazingly welcoming and responsive. We suggest they improve the signage that marks the location as it was very difficult to see. Perhaps some shelves inside the closet of the second bedroom for folded clothes. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Great getaway!

Our family of five stayed in the Carriage house for a week. Everyone was pleased with the space and we felt home right away! It was very nice to be in the area of Picton and it gave us the opportunity to travel easily to the beaches and other towns around. We’re heading back to Québec city with great memories of our stay and we’ll definitely be back in the area… Probably again to the carriage house.

We booked this home for a girls golf getaway. The home was very clean. Very convenient location to restaurants, shopping and LCBO. The hot tub was very relaxing after playing golf. As an added bonus, the host also left a bottle of red wine from a local winery which we enjoyed very much. We are already thinking we should book it again for next June.
