Zonsondergang Uitzicht over Lake Whatcom

Een gerenoveerd meerhuis gelegen tussen torenhoge dennen, biedt luxe terwijl u geniet van alles wat de natuur te bieden heeft. Ideaal voor mensen op zoek naar een uitje op het platteland. Neem een glas wijn op het dek of geniet van het uitzicht in het bubbelbad met uitzicht op het meer. De hoofdslaapkamer bevindt zich op de bovenste verdieping en beschikt over een kingsize bed, een eigen terras en een eigen badkamer. Met verwarmde vloeren, een stenen loopbrug, cederplafonds, een sauna in de douche en een diep bad, is de en-suite badkamer het toppunt van luxe. Andere voorzieningen zijn verwarming en airconditioning, overal WiFi en een wasruimte met een wasmachine en een droger. Deze rustige gemeenschap is een geweldige plek om weg te komen en te ontspannen. Dicht bij het centrum van Bellingham en Fairhaven, waar tal van geweldige plekken zijn om te eten, winkelen en verkennen. Bellingham Washington stay

The house was awesome, sweet location. We were like a 15 minute drive to downtown Bellingham. Loved the stay and the owners very helpful and available. Would recommend this house very cool place! We did a lot of hiking so hot tub perfect for recovery!

We totally enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we've seen. The patio's outside are huge and we totally took advantage of them. Owners were very responsive to our questions. I would definitely stay in this property again.

Great house in beautiful location

We loved staying here! It is so peaceful and lovely. The house is cute and well-appointed, we had everything we needed. My partner loved playing the guitar the owners kindly provide and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck at dusk and watching the lake. The master bed and living room couch were both comfy.

Sudden Valley Retreat

We spent a week at this lovely home in Sudden Valley. Perfect location for a visit with our son's family who live in the neighbourhood. The house exceeded our expectations and we hope to stay there again. Beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed being in the treetops.

We really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holidays. It was a very special touch that they had a tree there that was decorated. The house has some really nice updates. The bedrooms have very little space to unpack and hold our stuff. But we were not there very much. The beds were very comfortable. It was pretty chilly during the time we were there. The house has some lovely floor ceiling windows, and it was difficult for us to get the house warm. But there were plenty of blankets to use.The hot tub was also a great addition, even in the cold weather. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We also appreciated the little treats that they left for us. We would recommend this house to stay in.

We had a very enjoyable week at this property. Beds are very comfortable and area is quiet at night. It’s 25-30 minutes from town so you need to stock up on your way there. There is one small pizza/Italian restaurant close by and the food is good. The property is a bit unusual in that the main entrance opens directly into the bedroom. There is another way in and out but you do need to enter through the bedroom if the house is locked. Hot tub is a great feature and there is plenty of outdoor seating.

Great Family Getaway

My husband and I rented the house to spend a week with our adult daughter, son, and daughter-in-law. The neighborhood is great, we loved the relaxing feel of the house, and the hot tub was a hit. Perfect location for all of the day trips we made. The owners were wonderful and very helpful when our daughter left something in the house after checking out. One for the memory books!

Lovely Short Stay, Could Easily Use for Longer Stays

We really enjoyed our stay at the home, and I'd happily book it again.The location was lovely, comfortable, and worked for what we were seeking, with easy access to both town and a variety of dog-friendly hikes. We were particularly impressed with how well supplied the kitchen was, and with the enclosed dog run. The was also a generous welcoming basket.The hillside construction allows for a lovely view of the lake, and a layout that allows people to find their own space in the house. It also means lots of stairs, which may not be suitable for people with very young children or other mobility limitations.

Wonderful family retreat location and gorgeous property! We recently stayed here for our daughter's WWU graduation. Worth every penny! All of the extra's you could ever want or need. We regularly enjoyed the hot tub, and family visits around the outdoor fire pit. The environment was so peaceful (while also being a short drive away from town). To see deer walking up the driveway in the morning as I had my coffee out on the front deck while listening to the birds chirp was priceless. Plenty of room, games, fun popcorn popper, bbq, etc. etc.! Host was very responsive anytime I had a question both before our trip and during our stay. Highly recommend and we hope to stay here in the future the next time we visit BHAM.

Beautiful location and home to stay in. This was a charming home. It's on a steep hillside as is the whole neighborhood. Nice amenities, including a heated master bath floor, which was really nice. Hosts put out a tray of snacks and even dog treats, and provided good communication and information. Plenty of warm throws to snuggle in. Lots of outdoor decking and a hot tub but due to weather we weren't able to use much of that. Lots of stairs so be aware if that is an issue. Very nice place!!

The area was tucked away from the city-but an easy drive to get to the city when we wanted to shop. Lake was amazing, house was even nicer in person. Lots of room for everyone. Would go back.

Exactly what I needed

The pictures do not do this house justice. It is a perfect modern cozy cabin. I had zero issues with internet, temperature adjustment, cleanliness, appliances, checking in, etc. I never had to contact the owners to ask questions or complain. I stayed by myself, but I would definitely come back with friends or family. The three bedrooms are nice and spacious. The view of the lake is serene. The hot tub was so relaxing. I brought my dog and he loved the fenced in gravel area on the back of the house where he could do his business. I live in Bellingham, but staying in this luxurious house looking out over Lake Whatcom really felt like I had gotten away from city life and was on a lake house vacation. Can't recommend this property enough. Anybody would have a great time staying here.

Gorgeous Home and Area

This was a gorgeous home. The pictures do not do it justice. The Christmas tree was the icing on the cake. We have a small dog so the outside fenced area was great. Cookies, dog biscuits, and wine were offered in a cute welcome basket which was lovely. This place will not disappoint you! The property owners were very responsive. I wish we owned this house! It was fantastic!!

Perfect spot in Sudden Valley

This is the fourth time we've stayed in this house, and I can't think of a reason we'd look elsewhere in Sudden Valley. The house is comfortable and well maintained. The view from the front deck of Lake Whatcom is wonderful. The people in the neighborhood are friendly. It's a great place for dogs. We did have one very small issue with a kitchen appliance while we were there, and Owen dealt with it very quickly. We will be using this house as our base of operations until our own house in Sudden Valley is finished!

Great Property

We really enjoyed the property. While the inside is very nice, the deck and the hot tub were the highlight of our stay. We also loved the record player, listed to records every night.
