'The house was cute and comfortable. I loved the old feel of it. The location was remote and serene, and we enjoyed the sound of the river across the street while chatting on the porch. 'We enjoyed five days at this lovely modern cabin in Cavendish. We were delighted with the quiet wooded setting and the aesthetically pleasing cabin where everything from building materials to bedding were chosen with care and an eye for quality. We enjoyed the using the complimentary kayaks in Knapp Pond and using the hot tub and fire pit on cool evenings. 'We were visiting for a wedding and very comfortably slept 7 of us. The property manager was very accommodating with communication, as we got there much later than expected. Michael was great.It would have been helpful to have maybe a book with instructions and a light on at the end of the driveway- it was very dark on approach.Other than that highly recommend. '

'Our stay at the West River Lodge was great! The cabin is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner one of the nights we were there and all we had to bring was the food…the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and flatware…even a vegetable peeler and can opener! We would definitely recommend staying here.'

'My partner and our 2 dogs were able to take a long weekend at this beautiful cabin in Vermont. I loved the large windows, the fireplace, the full kitchen and the king size bed. It was a perfect base camp for some easy hiking trails and for rainy evenings the cabin was stocked with lots of board games. We all really enjoyed our stay. Check in and out were a breeze and continued with the relaxation.'
