My dogs came since we did come to the area for the solar eclipse. There is enough sidewalk and side streets to walk the dogs. I especially liked the fact all of the flooring in the house is a solid surface (no carpet) There is a general store called Singleton's, and we found lots of good food to purchase.'

'We had a lovely stay, the kayaks and canoe were the feature of one afternoon and we greatly enjoyed paddling around Lake Pauline and checking out both dam areas. The house is very clean and well maintained, we fell in love with all the windows and light coming in the bedroom across from the bathroom. The quick walk to the sugar house was a feature for my kids, they also loved having the wii in their room and playing Mario kart with their aunt/uncle.'

Walking to trail was difficult with the spring conditions and the up hill trek. Driving to skier drop off was just a few minutes and we had a non-skier who was willing to do this. 'Michelle made our experience super easy and memorable! Drive up a private road and a pretty steep hill (4wd a must in winter) to a secluded, beautiful house with plenty of space. Just you and nature. The house itself has all the amenities - full kitchen, sitting areas, and even a wood stove that Michelle started up before we got there.
