'It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax.'

We had the pleasure to make local food with one of the chefs and travel to knuckles mountains, explore the tea plantage and may other exiting adventures. 'het hotel ziet er van buiten mooi uit zo op een berg. maar binnen valt het zwaar tegen. mijn klacht werd niet op teruggekomen. toen we een dag niet kwamen ontbijten werden we wakker gebeld waarom niet. het eten is van een matige kwaliteit vergeleken met de prijs die je er voor betaalt. je kunt beter een hotel in Nuwara zelf boeken.'

'The place was absolutely beautiful. Our room had stunning views and the facilities overall were excellent, new and very well maintained. The food was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also did a trekking tour organized by them, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. This is truly a fantastic place that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka, far away from the chaos and mass tourism.'

'The hotel was was the river with a room with a large balcony to enjoy the views. The manger was gracious enough to bring our breakfast up to the balcony, so that we could enjoy the views.'

'Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend'

'Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. '

'This is a very nice modern hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff all excellent and breakfast was great too. Lovely infinity pool. The hotel is right at the top of a mountain so access is a bit tricky but the views are stunning. We were informed that the hotel didn’t have a liquor licence. However, they can actually sell wine and beer - it would have been helpful to know that. '
