'We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!'

'We celebrated my parents 70th anniversary at Rita's. We had the entire place. This is a very large property and it was perfect for our event. Very clean and well equipped. Mike the maintenance man stopped by to ensure all was good and said to call at any time if we needed anything. The pool was amazing and was loved by all from my 8 month old great grandson to my 89 year old mom. The young adults loved all the room for lawn games and the fire pit at night. Everyone is already talking...

'This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 '

'Great spot! Excellent location to visit Cape Breton Island. Near the Cabot trail and only 75 minutes from Louisbourg.'

'We felt the lockbox was on the wrong door and we had a hard time finding the right door. It was around the opposite side of the house. The key is accessed inside the lock box. The kitchen was well equipped and pleasant to use. One suggestion would be to inform incoming guests that the coffee maker was a keurig.'

'We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cottage. I would come back in a heartbeat. With a full kitchen we were able to make dinner and plan meals for our day trips. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets for the chillier nights. The grounds were beautiful with lots of space for the kids to play. The back porch was a peaceful place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I don’t have any negative comments, nothing could have been better. It was absolutely perfect. '

'This is a lovely apartment right in the heart of Baddeck. It was very comfortable and well set up, and the host, Courtney was great. It was just a few minutes walk to a number of great restaurants. I'd like to especially call out Tom's Pizza - the pizza is amazing, and so is the value. It's just a minute up the street. We were lucky enough to be in Baddeck for the Prom Parade, Canada Day, and Kitchenfest - and heard some amazing musid. Baddeck is perfectly located to get to almost everything on...

"Nice town with interesting history like the inventor Bell who lived near the town. The hotel is good. It has a nostalgic vibe. The staff is friendly, room was clean and spacious.
