The hosts have thought of everything and even provided cooking oil, aluminium foil, honey and Vegemite. It was a little unusual having a second bathroom which was only accessible via the rear deck and we were surprised at the level of road traffic noise during the night given the location. 'We found Adrift to be just right for our purposes. We chose it because it was pet friendly. We found it to be a comfortable and well appointed. It was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Adrift had an outdoor setting which we used for our evening meals and a garden large enough for our dog to roam in.I was stunned to see kangaroos feeding on the nature strip, and the garden was visited each morning by Banded Lorikeets.Its location is not 5 minutes from the beach. In fact there was no beach but...

'Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for 5 people. Peace, quiet (cicada version of quiet!), kangaroo families, fire pit, close to beaches and lake. The solitude of the lakefront was a highlight, just us and the birds and leaping fish. Cabin had everything we needed (just byo linen). Great bush and water experience, highly recommended. '

'We had a lovely long weekend with our two GSPs and being so close to the Clifton dog park was fantastic. The nearby Nelson Beach is also great for off leash times. The addition of visiting kangaroos in the early morning and evening was of great excitement! Comfortable beds and lovely warm showers and plenty of kitchen space. Everything you need for a getaway.'

'The upstairs rooms were great, and upper and lower balcony and back garden were great - the lower indoor area where 2 of the 5 of us stayed was fine but some TLC be worthwhile. We had a very happy time here, lovely places to walk and to swim, quiet neighbourhood, good playgrounds, lots of birdlife and kangaroos. It was a great family and dog-friendly holiday.'
