'The house was clean & cute and had a great location! Plenty of things to do! Great local restaurants. Make sure you visit the Harbert Swedish Bakery. The pastries are amazing. Also there is a place called Flagship Speciality Food and Fish. It’s the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. It’s a hole in the wall and you might miss it. We had a facial and a massage at Mak Salon. It’s right down the road and highly recommend going there! Thanks Again!'

'The pictures don’t do it Justice. The Black Pearl has everything you need and is well thought out with nice touches. Location is perfect-short walk to restaurants, shops & theater and about 10-15 min walk along boardwalk to pier and beach. We stayed three nights with our two teenagers and having two bathrooms was great. Beds are comfy, fireplace is a nice surprise and the kitchen is well appointed. Would highly recommend.'

'This property was a nice change of scenery-inside and out. Inside we found everything we needed and then some. How nice to be provided with coffee! 'We wanted something that was walking distance to downtown and the lake. This property gave both. We were able to walk to different parts of the lake from this property and easy walking to the main downtown/ Martine Museum. There is a full kitchen with most supplies. The layout of the place was nice as well. The bridge that goes over the Black River is right outside and it didn’t affect our sleeping. I even brought ear plugs just incase and never used them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay....

Although the functionality of the outdoor built-in speakers during grilling or ceiling speakers for films would have added to the experience, it did not impact the overall excellence of our stay.
