Vacation with the grandkids

We had a wonderful time! Such a pretty setting and really fine accommodations. It's obvious that the owners take great care of this property. We couldn't have been happier with our vacation and would recommend it to others.

KY Trip

We absolutely love staying at the Bijou at Big Bear. The managers always respond quickly. They allowed us to check in a few hours early. They even offered an apartment over their own garage to stay in if needed when the power was out due to a storm.

Great Location

The location of this property was great. We enjoyed swimming right off the dock. The property was very clean. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor gathering areas. We would definitely go back again.

Family Getaway

Enjoyed our family getaway. The place was very comfortable and clean. Great quiet location with great view of Kentucky Lake. All our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Host was very responsive with any requests we had. Would stay there again.

Paradise at KY Lake

We stayed here as a family, 2 grandparents a family of 4 and a family of 5 so 11 people total. Kids ages ranging from 4-14. We loved it. Rented a pontoon boat from big bear marina, campfires with smores in the evening, fishing from the dock. It was a wonderful place to stay and everyone is already saying thy want to do the exact same thing next year

Great New Place for our Family Vacay

Loved this new location for our family and our Kentucky Lake family vacation! Spacious accommodations and great lake access for both of our boats, with the covered dock. Boat ramp access was fantastic! Grandkids loved the house, the outside area (they were amazed at the tree in the middle of the upper deck and lower driveway), the firepit area (which was a great place to wind down at the end of the day). I would have to say the ONLY thing that we could suggest for this awesome place is a bigger fridge (or a second fridge possibly on lower level) - with our family and eating all of our meals on site or on the boat, space was a little tight in the fridge. Communication with management was fast and efficient! Thank you for letting us stay with you and making more memories for our family!

Excellent lake house

Amazing property, full of views. Host was easy to get ahold of when needed. Beautiful home with easy access to the water. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great vacation spot on the lake.

Always a gem

This house is perfectly located off our favorite cove on KY lake. Comfortably sleeps 10 adults. Dock still had plenty of water to moor even over labor day weekend with extremely low water levels. The back yard area is the highlight of the property with numerous areas to sit and enjoy the water.

Great house with perfect location and boat dock

This home is stocked with everything including a mixer and a hair dryer. It’s very clean with updated decor. Great dock with room for boats. Great location near Moors. Plenty of room for 12 people and loved the welcome basket.

Heaven just a short trip away !!

Wonderful place ! Clean. Well appointed. Space for all to stretch out ! Boat dock wes great. Public landing was within earshot. Only problem was only a 3 day stay but we will fix that next year !!

Great Place!

Stayed over Memorial weekend and it was fantastic. The house is wonderful. Plenty of space for our 4 adults and 3 teens. One of the best locations on the lake. Close to Moors, Big Bear and King Creek yet quiet and relaxing. Amanda was great and provided all information needed.

Great Lake House

The house is in a great location, with very nice outside areas to view the lake, Access to the dock was an added feature for our crew. The house was nicely furnished and had all the amenities that we expected. Owner was very responsive to our questions. Can't go wrong with this lake property.

Amazing!

Location was awesome for my husband to get to boat dock To go fishing and close enough to Paducah for me to go shopping! House was amazing. I wish it was available in June or July, we would book again!

Great weekend getaway

We had 3 families stay this past weekend. Our son brought his boat and was able to dock it at the house. We floated by the dock and it was perfect! The house was beautiful and well stocked--we did not need anything! We did bring a few air mattresses because our kids brought friends. We had plenty of room! Indoor and outdoor space was great! Plenty of seating to eat out doors and plenty of seating on back sunroom to eat/play games indoor. We all loved it and will be back!!

This home met all our expectations! Clean and beautifully decorated with great lake views. We were a party of 11 and there was plenty of space for everyone. Owner/ manager was very accommodating and quick to respond to any and all questions. Definitely recommend this VRBO!!! We will be back!

Excellent clean property

We’ve been coming to Kentucky lake from Southern IL for the past 12+ years. This has been the cleanest house we’ve ever stayed in and one of the best for easy access to their dock. We enjoy being close to Moors and being just across the lake from the cliffs and beach. We put our boats in at Big Bear campground which was super close. The dock was about 8-9 ft deep when we were there, so no worries about shallow water. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 kids. The two pullout couches helped. The owners had lots of amenities for us. There is plenty of parking too. We were worried about only having 2 bathrooms with so many people, but it worked out just fine. Couldn’t rate this property any higher. We’ve never repeated a stay at a house on Kentucky lake but hope to with this one.

Awesome view. Great setting with a good size dock

This house was very very clean. Everything worked work. Large porch to hang out and look over the water. House has an excellent setting. Very well equipped with gas grill and logs for the fire. Plenty of seating. Sleeps a lot of people but only 2 bathrooms. And one bathroom is only accessible from the master. Didn’t affect us much but it’s good to know if you plan on having 10-12 ppl stay for a week. We will be renting this place again! The setting is unbeatable.

Perfect spot for gathering with friends

The property is wonderful. Recently updated and there are so many places to sit and watch the world go by. Loved the easy access to the dock and the boat launch (Big Bear) is literally one street over. Will definitely be coming back!

Spring break 2021

We came this spring and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Kentucky Lake. The space was newly renovated and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The 4th and 5th bedrooms are pull-out sofas in the sun porch areas but we didn’t need to use them. We loved having the dock available to fish off of and park our boat. The boat launch and park were within walking distance.
