'We hebben fantastische dagen gehad in Porto, in Baumhaus apartments. We hadden een mooi appartement met terras op de vierde verdieping. Het gebouw is prachtig met schitterend trappenhuis en grote tuin om te relaxen. Het appartement was modern en licht ingericht en erg schoon. Heel comfortabel.
Daniela en Luisa deden er alles aan om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ze gaven ons veel goede tips voor restaurants en portproeverij en fietsenhuur. Mede dankzij hen hadden we heerlijke...
'The hotel is a very nice set up accomodation with excellent rooms. For a 5 star hotel there is some small brushing up to do, like the noise of the heat pumps and airco-units outside and keeping the public places clean during rainy days.

'This hotel has all the things you need for a good stay in Porto. A rooftop terrace with the view to the whole city, spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices reasonably priced. Metrostation to the city and airport is just 10 minutes walk.You can also walk to the city takes around one hour. '

'The Hotel was excellent. Staff was super helpful and the Spa was very nice . my only criticism is that the rooms don’t have a lot of room to move around and drawers . We went for 7 nights and had to pretty much live out of the suitcases but other than that this hotel was super . '

"Prima locatie in centrum. alles op loopafstand. bezienswaardigheden, restaurants, metro en buslijnen.
Rooftopbar met zwembad(je) erg leuk, mooi uitzicht over de stad.
Kamers goed, prima bedden, schoon.
Zeer vriendelijk personeel."

We kregen een kamer op de bovenste verdieping maar door de airco units op het dak extreem luidruchtig. De receptie kon ons niet helpen, dus hebben we hele nacht wakker gelegen.
De volgende dag kregen we een nieuwe kamer hier geen last van de airco maar ook zeer lawaaierig, je hoorde het water lopen van de nabije kamers, uiteraard niet leuk als je buren midden in de nacht veertrekken.
Ontbijt was basic en voor een gebakken eitje moest je bij betalen. "
"It has been truly amazing, everything in the room is modern and comfortable and looks brand new and super clean. A very large and comfortable mattress, air conditioning on both floors. And a bath room I want in my own house.
In all my 20 years of travel this has been the most amazing place I’ve ever stayed, period.
It’s a good 30 minute walk to where things happen, but it is next to the metro and buss stop.
We didn’t use the kitchen but it had a large fridge (not the typical hotel ones), a dish water and a stove. It even had a small nespresso machine (which we didn’t use)

"The hotel is located a residential area, a little outside of the city center. It has it's own underground parking. Getting around with a car is also easy. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is very nice, with many choices. The indoor swimming pool is great. We used it everyday during our time in Porto. Highly recommended."
