'A wonderful property so much space. Had everything we needed and very comfortable. Just across the road from the beach which was wonderful for taking dog for a walk no one else there. Short scenic drive into Portland. Lovely watching the ships come and go. There is no Wifi at the property.'

'On arrival I was a bit unsure and opening up the shed was difficult for me as the door is very stiff! Charles did ask if I needed help which I declined, definitely say yes! 'Enjoyed staying in this old cottage and would have appreciated more information about it (such as when it was built, how much it has changed over the years, what woods were used on the floor and walls, etc.). Convenient location in Portland. It was windy and cold during our stay so we appreciated the heating. Local information provided by host was good.'

'This isn’t the first time that we have stayed here. The first time was why we came back as the room we were in was comfortable enough. This time around the room itself was fine but the bed wasn’t very comfortable as the padding on the top of the mattress wasn’t evenly distributed and it would appear that the mattress may need to be replaced. The rest of the room was fine and the staff were hospitable.'

'Great holiday park within walking distance to town centre. The cabin I stayed in was comfortable, there’s 2 bedrooms but the one with the bunk bed was tiny. There is a kitchenette with enough bench space to prepare sandwiches. There is a nice walk with beach view at the back of the park. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable about the area. I would stay again.'

'Very good location for quietness & sea views. 4-5 kms from town centre. 2 storeys with about 8 steps that are quite steep. The house has a lot of vintage character, lots of natural light & a good sense of space. However, some parts, although clean, still look a bit shabby. Instructions for entry & any other information were clear & accurate. We enjoyed our 2 night stay mid-March.'
