'It does have a sauna. The stairs on the slide need updating. My son said he had to avoid rust on most of the steps going up.'

'The room was clean, the property has a beautiful back yard facing Lake Superior. The bathroom was not in good shape. The drain was very slow in the bath tub. When a shower was taken the water was almost up to the ankles. I did mention this to the girl at the desk when checking out, she said she would tell house keeping. The entire bathroom needs to be updated, walls fixed at the bottom by the base board, newer toilet or at least a toilet seat. You’re paying for beautiful view and it’s close to...

'It was a decent place to stay for what it was. The supply/demand of the area meant that it was pretty expensive for what it was, but it was decent. The room didn't have any weird smells and was generally clean. I'm not sure if all rooms had this, but the shower was installed pretty low, so be warned if you are taller than, say, 5'-5" or so. If you end up in the area past 10 pm there are not a lot of food options available so plan appropriately, and don't trust the hours posted on google.'

'It was so cute and cozy! Definitely enjoyed the houses being more modern but cabin vibe at the same time. I wish we knew that some units don’t have a stove or a freezer before we bought food. The address was kind of confusing directly from clicking on maps, we had to read how to get there. At night the sign entering the homes from the road is hard to see because there is no lights on it. 'This is a really neat vintage motel. They've done a great job of updating the rooms to a modern decor. The room was ridiculously clean. The beds were comfortable. It's an easy walk into town for dinner or to take a stroll or for a Pictured Rocks boat tour. If you're looking for an old school *park in front of the door* motel that's updated and really clean, this is the place for you! The staff is very friendly and very communicative as well. We had a lovely stay.'
