'I understand that they are renovating the hotel. But in the shower was grout that was stuck to the main area of the shower. The toilet seal was super dirty and moldy. And the faucet in the restroom was also stained with grout. Breakfast was cold. But De’Angela was a beautiful soul that greeted us with such positivity that we needed after a long stressful day of driving.'

'My TV didn’t work. The front desk guy came to my room but he couldn’t fix it. He said they might give me a discount but they didn’t. The fire alarm went off at 9am Sunday morning. The fire department came and gave the all clear.'

'Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several issues that affected our experience. The amenities were disappointing — the hot tub was not up to par because the bubbles/jets were not working properly, and the pool itself was extremely cold, making it difficult to enjoy. The biggest issue was the room. We experienced a significant ant problem throughout our stay. While the staff did spray the room, the problem continued regardless. 'This is our second stay here, and not our last. This historic home is exquisitely restored and meticulously maintained. There is a well-equipped common kitchen with designated cupboards for each room. Coffee is available 24/7. Walking distance to Main Street. You will LOVE staying here!'

'Upon arrival I was told to go around the outside to get to my room. In the morning found that there was an inside route to my room as well. Breakfast was very limited. The crew was not interested at all, and almost wanted to charge me twice for the room, as it was already paid for online.'
