'Hotel is a little tired compared to last time we stayed. Food also not as good as it was. Needs some TLC to bring it back to more than a wedding venue or golf retreat.'

'The only thing that could have been better was the lack of info about RingGo to pay for the parking in advance. Installing the app, coming from abroad, proved far from easy.'

'Despite an excellent location just next to the entrance to the cathedral, this hotel is another of those run-down, bleak firetraps from way back in the last century. You know it's old as soon as you climb the narrow stairs to the tiny reception area and notice the grimy carpet and chipped woodwork. 'Fijne kamer, uitstekend ontbijt, aanrader.'

'Nice cottage in the hotel garden. Not far from the center of Canterbury '
