'Very little traffic and very quiet beach. It was early in the year before tourist season but very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. House was very clean. '

'Gooseberry Cottage is set back in the birch and pine forest on the coast of Madeline Island. It's very peaceful, charming and comfortable. I was there to visit with my best friend from grade school and her significant other and meet other friends and family staying at other cabins on Madeline Island. We buried my parents' ashes in Greenwood Cemetery after a small and convivial service celebrating my mother's life as she died last year. We also walked the beach, visited the cliffs at Big Bay...

'What’s a gem! This home is spotless, charming, unique, and welcoming; the description does not do justice for how wonderful the sauna and yoga situation is. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend you consider this place for your next Madeline Island getaway! Look forward to being back very soon. While there are many sweet details, everything feels comfortable and not overdone. Enjoy a sweet retreat.'

'Watch sunrise each day, follow critter tracks on the beach, breathe in the pine aroma and relax. Top tip: the electric heater has a remote—no one has to get out of bed to turn it on in the morning! Neat and tidy with the essentials. We loved it.'

'Lori & Craig’s home is a perfect getaway for quiet & relaxation while conveniently located a short drive from Town Park and Big Bay State Park. We traveled with our two kids and their spouses and we had ample space. We all enjoyed the screened in back porch and identifying the different bird calls. Our two dogs loved having the yard to play in. Will definitely be back! '

'Staying on the boat was the best adventure. It was easy walking distance to downtown Bayfield. That weekend was Bayfest and it was so much fun. Shopping, food and music. Saturday night there was a big storm, boat rocking back and forth. Still sleep well.'

'My wife, our 2 year old and two dogs spent a wonderful week at this cabin. The cabin provided us a perfect location where we had lots of privacy and a beautiful setting to hang out and enjoy being a family. 'This condo met all our expectations for the long weekend of exploring the area for the first time. It is cute, clean, comfortable and tucked away in the trees with a secluded view from the deck. We relaxed there in the evenings and slept great. Communication exceeded our expectations! We did not utilize the kitchen but it looked well stocked. '

'Beautifully appointed studio style condo in the woods, but close to Bayfield (6 minute drive). Communication from the owner (Lisa) was outstanding. Very comfortable bed and the condo has more than enough room for 2 people. Would definitely stay here again if we make a return visit to Bayfield!'
