'My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful but too short vacation to Brownlee Reservoir and the Wallowa Mountains in May. This wonderful old farmhouse was our base. With Bullock Orioles nesting in the back yard trees and a covey of Quail in the driveway, and the Powder River backing up to the hayfields of the ranch. A simple, clean, and well maintained accommodation, it was perfect for us and our dog. Literally 1/2 mile from two boat ramps and a mile from a good country grocery/hardware/liquor/fishing...

'I booked this house for a long weekend for myself and 2 of my adult children; one of them had a birthday on Friday. We arrived early enough on Thursday and the ever-changing weather cooperated; we got to observe the lunar eclipse.We were Very impressed with the location, the privacy, the Quiet and the amenities. 'This was our family’s favorite cabin so far. We stay in a different cabin at Wallowa every summer and this had the perfect amount of space. The boat dock was my kids favorite and the water was perfect.'

'The property is on a quiet street with easy walking access to the lake. The trees on the west side of the property helped keep the cabin cool in the afternoon. We appreciated the array of kitchen pots and pans, and the living room was spacious. We had originally planned to eat out a couple of times, but cooking and eating in the cabin just seemed so pleasant so we didn't stray for meals. '

'Husband and I brought brother from Texas to see the beauty of Eastern Oregon. The cabin was perfect. Had everything we needed. Saw lots of wildlife and hiked every day. Nice and cozy for all of us. Roku works perfectly and was great in the evening after a day of fishing and hiking.'
