'This is a gorgeous boutique hotel -- it felt like an oasis to us. The rooms are very spacious and many of them are their own little bungalow. The hotel was clearly set up by someone who had passion for this; the detailing and decorations are very tasteful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When the main ferry service had terrible delays due to an incident, the manager, Mey, chartered a boat for us and arranged for a car in Bali to get us to our destination. 'This was such a lovely place to stay. The staff was super-accommodating, helping me arrange a climb of Mt Ijen and transport. Though it was out of town, it was in a lovely location and still only a 30-minute walk to the beach, where there's a great lobster restaurant where you can lounge for the day by the beach. BB also had Wonderful espresso drinks with breakfast. Lovely touch. '

'Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

'We had an amazing (and too short) stay at Kunang Kunang tent resort. Welcomed very friendly, pick up and drop off arranged accordingly and had a lot of opportunities to explore but too little time. Food is very nice, got super room service with the welcome drinks and even a small present when we left. Would love to come again. Hopefully the tents will be kept well maintained until then! 'This place is just awesome! Everything (rooms, shared bathrooms, community area) is clean, looks brandnew, nice community area to hang around. Quiet during the nighttime as it is located in a small road next to the main road. Still everything is in walking distance. I have never experienced such nice staff members. They are willing to help you with everything, always have a smile on their face 😃 If you're looking for a hostel in Banyuwangi look no further - you have just found it!'
