'We enjoyed our stay at Dialoog. It is too far from the center to walk, but you can ask for a driver, get a bluebird taxi yourself or ask the hotel to rent their bikes. We were given an upgrade of the room which was very enjoyable. However I still suspect my mom who was travelling with us but was staying at a different hotel, haha. 'The host Nino is the best! He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay welcome and also took us to interesting places. He helped us book all our excursions, to Mount Ijen. He took us around town and we got to see places off the tourist path! He also cooks food with his family nearby, and was willing to feed us at any time! 'Heerlijke oase van rust. Wij zaten hier drie nachten, in combinatie met de Ijen tour. Het hotel bood alle faciliteiten om lekker tot rust te komen na de zware klim. Het restaurant was het enige minpunt. Dit lag met name aan de niet zo uitgebreide kaart en kleine porties. Wij zouden het hotel zeker aanraden.'

'We had an amazing (and too short) stay at Kunang Kunang tent resort. Welcomed very friendly, pick up and drop off arranged accordingly and had a lot of opportunities to explore but too little time. Food is very nice, got super room service with the welcome drinks and even a small present when we left. Would love to come again. Hopefully the tents will be kept well maintained until then! 'We really enjoyed our one night stay here! The staff were kind and helpful, even giving me tips for getting to the hotel from the ferry over Whatsapp ahead of time. The room was comfortable and pretty with great air conditioning. There were two adorable tiny cats who hung out on the premises who we loved making friends with :) We didn't use the shared kitchenette for anything except the water cooler and fridge, but it was nice to have. Great place!'

'Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...
