'Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. Our trucks were able to reach the property easy and I would recommend a truck or SUV. The locals in the area were kind and quiet. It was enjoyable to have a fire in the pit and there was plenty of wood around to use, with several fallen trees close by. The a-frame itself was cozy and peaceful. It got cold,...

'Clean room and comfortable bed.Nicely remodeled historic building with several hotel type rooms. There is a separate house you can book but it was already reserved when we made our reservations. The owners are friendly and helpful. Has a big fishing dock and the owner gave us plenty of tips on how to fish it. There is a good restaurant a very short walk away but still just minutes from everything in Warsaw. This place is going on our list for a return trip. '

'My husband and I love staying here. Mr Rob is always available to whatever your need may be. We arrived after the race on Friday night and didn’t have any hot water. I messaged Mr Rob and he was so apologizing because he had forgot to turn back on the hot water heater. He had turned it off because of the storms. We didn’t have but one wash cloth. No problem. He left us 2 the next day. Saturday morning we saw that the ceiling was leaking. No problem. I went and got him and he was so...

'Really enjoyed our overnight stay here. Very friendly and beautiful view. Dock was peaceful at night. Didn't have time to fish, unfortunately - but the setup looks fantastic.'

'We stayed at the Rusted Barn due to proximity to our desired boat ramp for spoonbill season at the Ozarks. Everything was adequate and ready for our arrival. The only issue (minor) we encountered was the beds were all super squeaky! If you're a light sleeper, be ready. We would still stay here again and it still rated 5 stars. The cookies on arrival were great!'

'Property is very nice. A short walk to a playground by the lake. One block to a nice Mexican Restaurant and one block to a coffee house and a very awesome barber shop where my great grandson got his first haircut. We found out later that his dad had his very first haircut there too. Enjoyed the comfy beds.'

'Perfect, quiet and secluded cabin with nearly a totally private lake cove. Faces west so beautiful sunsets. Wi-Fi internet was fine but zero cell service. Overall, this entire property exceeded our expectations and my family thoroughly enjoyed our entire week’s stay - highly recommend this cabin.'
