'Everything you need all right there, what more could you ask for! My family had a great time at the lake, the pool and hot tub was definitely a huge bonus for us. The band on saturday night was awesome as well as the food from the restaurant. Cabin was clean and made us all feel comfortable and gave us space to hang out as a family. 'Love the location. Close to the water, fire pit and pool. Well stocked unit. Everything you needed. It was definitely on the quiet side of the lake (which we appreciated). And it wasn't far to a grocery store, which made grilling simple. Would definitely recommend.'

'Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. Our trucks were able to reach the property easy and I would recommend a truck or SUV. The locals in the area were kind and quiet. 'We had a great time at this cabin. We found it to be extremely relaxing and just what we needed before our crazy back to school/sports schedule. We did a lot of fishing off the dock, cruising around the calm waters in the canoe, camp fires and just chilling. The location is remote and not close to many restaurants/shopping locations however we didn't mind that at all. We came prepared with all our food that we needed. Overall great place to relax and just get away.'

'Stay was great. We were just there to visit friends. They came by and we enjoyed the screened in porch. Only thing that was difficult was parking with a boat trailer. The book left at the house said it could be parked down by the boat ramp but we weren’t comfortable with that. '

'We really enjoyed our stay. The cabins are very clean and well thought out. They had several extra supplies that you could use. Having the two cabins was an added bonus. They did had a lilypad and some floats, a canoe and kayaks on the dock that you could use. A couple of the floats were broken but still useable. It is a very steep hike down to and up from the dock. 'We stayed at the Rusted Barn due to proximity to our desired boat ramp for spoonbill season at the Ozarks. Everything was adequate and ready for our arrival. The only issue (minor) we encountered was the beds were all super squeaky! If you're a light sleeper, be ready. We would still stay here again and it still rated 5 stars. The cookies on arrival were great!'

'We had family camping at the state park for the long weekend and wanted to stay close by. The cabin was perfect. We had time to visit easily and also an air conditioned place to sleep in. It also is dog friendly so we were able to bring the dogs. Getting a dog sitter on a long weekend is difficult. '
