'First I’ll address the driveway.It’s steep, just as described in the description as well as comments. Our 4WD vehicle went up just fine but our other vehicle did not. It stayed safely parked at the bottom of the driveway. Some could consider that an inconvenience however definitely not a ruined vacation, especially considering all this beautiful property has to offer. This cabin is fully stocked! 'I can't begin to describe how peaceful and beautiful this property is. The photos of the inside do not do the home justice. This property was crafted by the owners and they paid attention to every little detail. Exposed beams, a huge back porch, and even a ramp for our old, lame dog! The grounds are beautiful and, most importantly, PRIVATE. We did not see another soul on the property the whole time we were there. I loved walking the trails with my dog and sitting on top of the hill...

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
