'It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous...

'Clean, well stocked, wonderfully peaceful, very ready response from property mgr and very easy check in. Old folks take note, may not be necessarily senior friendly. I considered the spiral stair case but didn't worry about it and it was no problem at all. Steepness of drive is not exaggerated and you should be very steady on your feet to navigate the getting up and down grades, steps. Particularly the 2 steps from the deck into the house-they are especially high steps from a very short 70...

'Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. '

'What a great place to stay! The property has been updated and was clean and about 5 minutes from two different boat ramps on Caddo Lake. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and a boat. Highly recommend!'

'We really enjoyed staying at this home! We came in town from Kentucky to attend our son's wedding and this home worked perfectly for us. Everything was clean and simple. Beds were comfortable. Lovely deep bathtub for soaking. Nice fenced in back yard for our dogs! Thank you for a beautiful & comfortable home! '

'Very private location. Even waterfront is very personal area with a short ride to lake by boat. Good areas to explore by kayak too. Camp is comfortable and clean. Local town has low quality grocery and the Walmart has no grocery at all. It is ok for a meal if you forget something but if you want to cook nice I suggest to bring food with you. Highly recommend property and owner is great at quick response if needed!'

'This is a great place to stay, the boat ramp is right next door with a $5 launch fee…easy to charge boat batteries, grills, outdoor seating, full fridge and freezer, coffee pot, microwave comfortable bed…we fished and just pulled up on the bank to take a break at the inn and just headed back out….they had kayaks and canoes to use but we had our boat so we didn’t use them but saw others using them….there was a dock that others were fishing from…nice vibe at night with all the lights…would...
