'Comfortable stay in a quiet area. You have a separate entrance and a little kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle. And we were given a tasty breakfast every morning. Communication was good. We stayed here for a week while visiting family and it was the second time we stayed here. Perfect for us!'

'The property was difficult to find but once it was, it was good. The main front door had no lock. It had clearly been kicked in prior to me checking in as it was split through the door mechanism. However, the screen door did lock. There was still a feeling of insecurity though. Otherwise, the bedroom, kitchen and lounge were all clean. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you'

'We really loved the stay in Highlander Cottages. There are more cottages at this site, but it felt like we were staying alone in the forest. Although wooden constructions the quality was high, a kitchen block, small living room, dining table, comfortable beds fireplace and modern bath room. We would definitely return. '

'Self contained cabin in the middle of farm country. Plenty of toiletries, breakfast provisions of fresh local fare, the pot belly stove was well stocked, electric blankets on the beds and a super friendly host to introduce us to the property then left us alone. Perfect! Add to that the gorgeous dogs to make you feel at home, plenty of local wildlife around and a coffee pod machine in the kitchen made it the perfect stay. My only regret is only booking 2 nights otherwise we could have really...
