'We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. 'What a cool place to stay. If travelling to a remote mystical place isn't enough, step into this absolute comfort zone. Tucked away down a funny dirt road, this place is THE PLACE you want to arrive to. Space, fireplaces, ability to cut wood, go and entertain in the openness of the kitchen to those relaxing by the fireplace of a very generous lounge area. This is luxury after a day's travelling. Devine!'

'Self contained cabin in the middle of farm country. Plenty of toiletries, breakfast provisions of fresh local fare, the pot belly stove was well stocked, electric blankets on the beds and a super friendly host to introduce us to the property then left us alone. Perfect! Add to that the gorgeous dogs to make you feel at home, plenty of local wildlife around and a coffee pod machine in the kitchen made it the perfect stay. My only regret is only booking 2 nights otherwise we could have really...

'Super verblijf gehad. We hadden een upgrade naar een cabin met een losse slaapkamer. Speciaal voor ons was ook de bbq nog klaargezet. Mooi uitzicht. In de cabin was alles aanwezig qua servies en pannen wat je nodig had. Schoon en netjes Ps. Zwembad in Mole Creek is gesloten. Er is nog wel een zwembad open in Caveside ( poolroad) . Wandeling naar Lady lake hut is de moeite waard. Maar let op 4km onverharde weg naar startpunt is nét te doen met goede 2wd, maar zeker geen makkie. '

'We had a wonderful roomy caravan on the river with a covered outdoor sitting area. It was within walking distance of groceries & restaurants. There were children’s playgrounds nearby also. The staff was great. Everything was. We arrived late but clear after hour instructions to enter the park & access our caravan were sent to us ahead of time. '

'Georgia and Peter are wonderful hosts. Our room was so comfortable and included everything you'd need for self catering. Loved the freshly baked bread and loose leaf tea. An easy walk into town. Deloraine Espresso makes the best coffee and we enjoyed our meals at The Empire Hotel.'

'Joe (and his partner Renate) is a six star host who welcomed us with a glass of wine. He also invited us for dinner. His casserole was just great! The apartment is very comfortable and you can cook outside (which we did). Good bed, bathroom with a good shower. Ideal location for exploring Hobart (<20 min by car) and surroundings. Highly recommended!!'

'The staff for moonah appartments were excellent and really helpful, some of the pictures that Wotif has listed aren’t quite right. Book direct would be my comment. Wotif also didn’t allow for any cancellations. The property was nice and tidy. '
