'We loved staying at this cabin! It was close enough to Buena Vista, but felt very secluded. We enjoyed getting up every morning and having coffee on the back patio looking at the spectacular view of the mountains. The cabin was so cute, very clean, and the property manager was extremely accommodating! We will be back!'

'Great place for after Christmas holiday. Quick walk to town. Wonderful restaurants and cute shops. Surprised that the most bars didn’t open until 3pm. House was perfect for my small family. Kitchen could use updated kitchen items such as spatulas, basic salt and pepper. So grateful the refrigerator had an ice maker which was turned on and ready before we arrived. Saw many deer just hanging out in the backyard. Beautiful area and would recommend again. '

'Perfect Father's Day weekend vacation. Cabin was clean and comfortable; owner was friendly and accommodating. Everyone had a good time. '

'Had a great stay, everything you need and great location for hitting the mountains/rafting/hiking etc. and only 10min to store in poncho springs. Hot Tub was great after long day in the mountains. There are bunk beds in one of the rooms which the kiddos loved, didn’t see that on the listing so was a nice surprise. Will definitely look here first when we head back!'

'This place felt bigger than the photos, so props for that! We didn't feel as if we were bumping into each other the entire stay; ample room in this listing. The hot tub was great, the grill was great, lots of great kitchen amenities included. All instructions were easy for check-in and out, the town is Salida is close enough and easy to get to. Great spot for a weekend getaway with friends!'

Hidden gem

"This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!"
