'Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Running this place is not easy but the family are doing their absolute best as custodians. They are fully dedicated and committed to making Chateau de Candes a success. Merci Bertrand et Sam. 'Een prima accommodatie als uitvalsbasis om Chinon en andere plaatsen in het gebied te bezoeken. Wij hadden met 3 volwassenen een 1-2piece-kamer geboekt; 37m2. Voor de 6-personen, waarvoor dit staat, was het echt te klein. Via Expedia moest je bellen met de accommodatie. Dit heeft erg veel moeite gekost en betreffende Engels sprekende medewerkster vond het raar dat dit moest. Zij gaf aan dat linnen en handdoeken gratis waren, maar dit kregen we alleen bij aankomst, dus zelf handdoeken meenemen....

'Hôtel vraiment super ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et aux petits soins pour leur clientèle. La chambre que nous avions était très spacieuse pour une famille 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Extrêmement propre. La literie est de bonne qualité ce qui est appréciable après de longues ballades quotidiennes. Hotel très calme. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner où vous aurez la chance de déguster des compotes, des confitures et des crêpes faites maison chaque matin 👍. Une pensée pour la...

'We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and were such a pleasure to visit with. The grounds are very well kept and the home absolutely beautiful The breakfast was amazing as well (loved the fresh figs) as was the room. Great spot!'

'Jardin Haute Couture is very special. Coco is a wonderful host, and my husband and felt like guests in a beautiful country home. The decor is eclectic and fanciful, the bed was comfy, and the views are so pretty. The food is delicious. I hesitate to say too much for fear there won’t be a place for me!! '

'Wonderful small boutique airbnb in meticuloisly renovated property within the old central part of Chinon. Maurice is the perfect host and always helpful. Amazing breakfast. Stayed on second ( top) floor room, and did not find stairs difficult.'
