'Helaas niet bij the nut kunnen komen vanwege de weersomstandigheden, erg veel wind. Ook de pinguins lieten het afweten ,vanwege de harde wind. Uurtje gewacht, maar toen toch maar vertrokken. Leuk stadje met wat historische panden. Lekker eten, ook iets duurder, maar heerlijk'

'Prima hotel voor korter verblijf, doorgang of enkele tochten in de buurt'

'Great location close to the penguin view'

'I thought that it was overpriced. There is little to no phone reception and the WiFi was very poor also. The dinning was very expensive for what you got and my partners meal was very burnt.'

'The apartment was much better than we had expected. Clean and comfortable but not luxurious. I don't like showers over the bath so that would be my only complaint. Otherwise, great value for money, lovely view.'

'Linen sheets didn’t feel or look clean, black cotton from towels went everywhere on floor, room 3 smelt dusty. The advert shows front cottage but this was not a true reflection of our booking. Priority is our hygiene and room is dust free'

'Location excellent but no soundproofing. Could hear conversations and tv from adjoining rooms. Shower pressure in room 4 was terrible. Would not book again.'

'Was well set up, especially the kitchen, so we were able to cook a nice steak. We were allocated a spa bath, but as I have a mobility problem, I opted for a ‘bird bath’. Lots of room &. plenty of blankets.'

'Cabin was very cosy. Ample amenities for self catering. Wonderful setting in the wilderness. Great walks. Staff amazing. Peace and quiet much appreciated.'

'Great little cabin on the lake had all the things needed for a one night stay to visit penguins. Nice and cosy, felt like you were staying at grandmas house'

'One of the nicest places that we have ever stayed in. Beautiful rooms, very clean. The breakfast was amazing '

'Stanley is the cutest town ever & so is the Ship Inn! Every single detail is so well thought about & you feel transported in time but with all the lovely luxuries of modern life! The bicycles are a nice touch & a great way to see the town! Thanks for a most beautiful stay!'

'First impression needs to be improved (weeds in front yard, rot on posts, pealing paint). Home has a lot of charm but furnishings could be updated. Would be a good space for family who don't mind an outdated feel.'

'Beautiful apartment on ground floor and a bonus that there was an adjacent apartment for our friends. Great for couples travelling together. Apartment was spacious and quiet location.'

'Beautiful place loved it'

'Excellent location with beautiful views of the nut and ocean. A stones throw away from all of Stanley’s lovely eateries. Beds are comfy and the heating was superb!'

'Excellent stay, beautiful place'

'Modern luxury room friendly owner home made breakfast '
