'This is a wonderfully quirky and unique place to stay. The accommodation is just perfect. Hosts Steve and Elaine have created a tranquil and idyllic tiny retreat at Robin Hood Tower. Comms were great and Steve showed us around, sharing local history and top tips for our trip. Canal side walks were glorious. A magical stay.'

'As a returning guest, it was a pleasure to come back again to the Sunshine Apartment. The owners and the team that run the accommodation are so kind and wish for you to have a perfect stay. The apartment is in a lovely area. I particularly enjoy the two big smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom when staying. The powerful hot shower. The peacefulness of the isolated apartment gives you maximum chance to relax. I look forward to returning once again in the future. '

'We had a lovely week away. The cottage was well situated for things we wanted to do. Paul across the road we met as we were leaving was very friendly and checked that everything with our stay was ok. He doesn’t have a car so parking on his drive worked really well (I was worry we would have to keep moving the car/get trapped in.) and we were able to get to our car whenever we needed it. Tescos is a 5 min walk and town is very close. There is a nice play park just across the road and Alfreton...

'A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need. Cosy and warm. Great walks from the door, beautiful area with all that the Derbyshire dales has to offer. There is a friendly pub across the road where we enjoyed a pint but only serving meals at weekends currently. 10 minute walk into the village where another pub, also friendly (the black swan) serves food but with a limited menu. There is an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal one of...
