'Net hotel vriendelijk personeel'

'Er is geprobeerd op een wat ludieke manier het aantrekkelijk te maken voor jonge kinderen. Voor ons niet nuttig maar ook niet storend. Wat er moest zijn, was er.'

'Great location for Matlock Bath illumination. Hotel has an Indian restaurant which was popular but we had already booked elsewhere. The hotel is generally clean and tidy but some aspects of cleaning could be improved. The shower doors and bathroom floor would have benefited from a better clean. Good parking facilities on site and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit tired but places to stay in Matlock bath with parking are limited. All in all, good value for money.'

'had a great stay, nothing negative to say. nice large room, large bed, good food (dinner and breakfast), friendly staff'

'Fijn en schoon hotel. Vriendelijk personeel.'

'Facilities in hotel and room as expected for a hotel. Has a somewhat tired look about the building dreaming of former glory. For some of the staff they gave the impression thast they were in employment but not within the hotel trade.'

'Lots of accommodation option in separate estate cottages attached to the pub'

'goed ontbijt '

'Camera pulita'

'Okay for a short stay. Little bit of tlc was needed throughout, otherwise all ok'

'Friendly staff, good food, easy parking and very reasonably priced,'

'Een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Mooie kamer, uitgebreide koffie/thee faciliteiten. Lekker warm ontbijt. Gezellig terras.'

'Prima hotel op mooie locatie. Schone maar kleine kamer. Prima ontbijt'

'The hotel room was ok and spacious. Shower gave not so much water. But in general it was a rundown place. We had to wait for food and breakfast long times. At breakfast some plates were not clean. The juice containers were almost empty. And on our departure date we couldn’t get breakfast because of a problem in the kitchen. While having breakfast there was the constant noice of the vacuum cleaner. When mobbing the floor, the employee hardly cleaned the mob in the bucket. The general appearance...

'We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊'

'no complaints just our room stunk of cigarettes'

'Some challanges to find the location, but it was re-designed and looked very well. on monday the kitchen is closed which is a point because in the villages isn't much to eat. Eating is maybe not the strongest point, the continental breakfast was underneath the quality we suspected. I don't know which continent they are refering to but it looked Africa. '

'Lovely home cooked breakfast and comfortable room. Best bathroom stayed in so far as was really spacious with separate shower cube and bath - a real treat. Staff very friendly and thoughtful.'
