'Wonderful stay, was welcomed and shown to the room, beautiful area and access for great walks. They were very accommodating to the fact we had a super early start one day so we would miss breakfast, however they had prepared a lovely packed lunch for us whilst out for the day. Breakfast the next day was super tasty. Room was very clean and not slept like that for a very long time.'

'Bijzonder lieve mensen die het guesthouse runnen . Fantastisch goed en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt . Dineren is helaas niet mogelijk, maar op aanraden van de eigenaren hebben we Indiaas eten laten bezorgen. '

'Cute little quiet area and relaxing rooms. Would come again for sure. we got an uber to Matlock bath took 5 minutes. Breakfast was amazing. Plenty of street parking outside the b&b thanks '

'Lovely comfortable stay @ the Parsons house b & b. Traditional cottage style house with quirky decor & a lot of original quirky fixtures & fittings. No kettle etc but David always makes sure you have tea or coffee freshly made whenever you want one. Lovely breakfast all fresh produce & everyone must try the breakfast trifle it’s delicious. Would recommend, it’s in a great location too Thank you Deb & Simon'

'We had a fabulous 1 night stay, room was beautiful, patio area was great too. Only negative feedback was no milk and only a coffee machine which was awful for tea drinkers as the water tastes like coffee still. Saying this however we would come back and just bring a kettle! :0)'

'We really enjoyed staying at The Old Vicarage,it was such a unique setting and Tricia and Andrew were such great hosts. Our room was beautiful and the breakfasts were great. The location was really great for touring around the peak district.'

'The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was right at the front off the hotel it did have modern double glazed windows but they were useless the traffic outside never stopped until after midnight and restarted around 4 am.I am quite a heavy sleeper but this had to be the worst night’s sleep I’ve experienced at a hotel, the bed looked lovely but we couldn’t turn over...

'The owners were lovely, welcoming and had thought of absolutely everything guests might need during their stay…nothing was too much trouble. Room was quiet, clean and loved the fridge given the hot weather. Location is 20minute walk into both Matlock and Cromford. But location is very hilly for both walking and driving with no local shops.'
