'It's on a round-a-bout which means that you have to look for the carpark. There is one & it is close by. We didn't stay in the hotel but in the Coachhouse. Breakfast was very good, staff are friendly. Has all the facilities but it's greatest plus point is where it is. Although I can imagine that some rooms could be quite noisy. '
'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and had all the facilities we could possibly ask for including a secure private garden section with decking area, perfect for the dogs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all consisting of excellent locally sources ingredients expertly cooked. The property was conveniently located a short drive from Chatsworth House, Bakewell and a number of other tourist attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others.'
'The room is immaculate, there are nice touches like ground coffee and a french press, first time I have had this even in £500+ a night rooms. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside.
The only thing to be mindful of is that there is a big step both into the room and the bathroom for those with reduced mobility like myself - this is in addition to the 6 steps i was aware of. There is no aircon or fan so we opened the bedroom and bathroom windows and it was fine. Old school air...

'Take yourself back in time to an era we all want to recreate away from this troubling world. I was hoping for a spitfire to zoom overhead at anytime. A beautiful location within the Chatsworth estate in old style properties with plenty of character. Just a few steps away is a lovely local pub The Beeley Inn serving delicious food (the ox cheek is to die for,) agreeably it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Ideal for a special treat.'
