'I have stayed at the Earl many times over the decades. The staff haven't changed and i think this is an indication of how well the hotel is ran. The ladies on reception and breakfast are lovely. This time we had room 406, lovely big room overlooking carpark. Very quiet. Highly recommend '

'Nice place in the middle of nowhere but bar restaurant 100 meters away and linked to the hotel. Everything present for a nice stay. The hotel is in a very good condition and all set according international standards. Nothing to complain about!'

'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '
