'The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient.'

'Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. '

'何度宿泊しても、いつも快適です。コンドミニアムと言ってもいいくらいの部屋は、快適で、ゆっくり過ごすことができます。駐車場だけが難点ですが、自家用車ではない旅行であれば問題ないと思います。繁華街からは離れていますが、それがいいですね。'

'Loved it, felt like a real local. Washer was a plus and included detergent! Fast responses and overall a great stay :) 9.8/10 a little bit dusty specifically the top of air conditioner but hey, it’s an older place, it was expected and part of the vibe. Recommend if you want to stay in a more traditional place hence the name of the place. '

'Ein typisches altes japanisches Haus mit tollem Flair. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Die Strasse war beim ersten Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden, auch der Taxifahrer hat sich schwer getan. Ich kann die Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe/ Familie aber nur weiterempfehlen! '

'Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. '
