'This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.'

'Had a great couple of nights. Excellent wheelchair access, amazing sea view, friendly chickens, delicious free apples. Perfect spot if you're heading to Miranda to view shore birds.'

'We had a lovely winter getaway for a couple of days, and especially enjoyed the enormous hot tub. The walks nearby are great, but please note that cafe listed as being 2 mins away no longer exists, so you do need to drive to get food or walk the 6km or so one way to the Waikino Tavern. The house is old, but well kept and clean except for a funky smell in the rear room. Overall we had a great time and would recommend to anyone :)'

'The place is quite easy to find. We met Pete up the driveway to the house. We found him very obliging, friendly and informative, great person. The property was even better than we imagined. the house was very clean, spacious, well furnished, all the amenities you could possibly need and amazing views. We absolutely loved our stay and it felt really homely. We didn't really want to leave and will recommend to other friends of ours.'
