'Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. 'Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness.'

We loved sipping our coffee in the mornings on the large patio outside. Great place for star gazing at night also! 'It was such a lovely retreat after our long days out on hikes. Very clean, had washing and drying unit, and full kitchen to cook. The beds were very comfy, ours had a blanket warmer which worked great on the colder nights. Bathroom was seperated which worked well with 5 of us and plenty of hot water. Loved this place, highly recommend!'
