'This was my fifth stay at the Palace Hotel, I also go to Buxton Opera House to see a show. We booked dinner and breakfast at the hotel.Check in was great, very pleasant receptionist.Our evening meal last night was lovely, great service from a pleasant waitress and the meal was very tasty! I had a good night's sleep in room 301,it has has a new bathroom suite with a lovely shower, I had no noise disturbances from other guests going into their rooms. Self service breakfast was great! 'Lovely stay, feeling very relaxed. Room was very clean and comfy. Could do with a some uk plug sockets near the bedside tables. The sockets there were not usable. There were other sockets available, but not many. Breakfast was good, dinner was amazing!! Access to the indoor pool, sauna and steam room was perfect for relaxing. '

'Clean and comfortable, friendly welcome, good food. Ideal in the recent hot weather as the stone built building kept the rooms cool! I’ll hopefully be back with my dog. '

'A short two night stay. We have stayed here half a dozen times over many years. The buildings are beautiful 17th Century and the decor is sympathetic to the period. Food is a good standard they have an AA Rosette. Quiet location and enthusiastic staff. We strongly recommend it!'

'Het hotel is wat gedateerd, maar de kamer was keurig netjes en heel belangrijk: we hadden een HEERLIJK bed. De kamers zijn verschrikkelijk gehorig, maar dat komt waarschijnlijk omdat het hotel wat gedateerd is. Er is niets om je aan vast te houden als je het bad in- en uit stapt om te douchen. Voor ouderen kan dit zeer zeker een probleem zijn.'
